Movie Actress Ly Marina and Her Fiance

Movie actress, Ly Marina, had a housewarming last Friday 05, November off Phnom Penh International Airport by inviting more than 200 guests. This house is the second gift from her fiancé after she got a luxury car. Her house costs more than US$120,000.

Ly Marina had engagement with a Cambodian-American man who ages 40 years old on August 06, 2010 at Lucky Star Restaurant. Even though, she still does not set the specific date of her wedding.

Popular Khmer actress, Ly Marina, got engaged to a Cambodian-American man from USA on August 06, 2010 at Lucky Star restaurant in Phnom Penh. And she made decision to leave for USA in order to live with her future husband after getting married, ever though, she still do not set specified date of wedding ceremony yet.

Her fiancé’s name is Sat Chanthorn who is working at casino in USA. She has relationship with him more than one year after she met him in USA when she performed over here.

She got married once to Bayon TV’s program manager but her marriage ended during more than one month. It was said that it was because they had differences.

She told reporters that after getting engagement, her fiancé is preparing document in order to take her to USA.

Her engagement party would be hold at restaurant in Phnom Penh. She has started her relationship with her fiancé for more than one year. According to Sabay, she said that her fiancé is ordinary man. The relationship between her and a guy is like common people.

The man who got engaged to Ly Marina is Casino’s staff working in USA. And she also said that her engagement is not so big and not invited many guesses as well.

In 2006, she married Bayon TV’s program manager, Tit Thavarith but her marriage ended in the short time.

A few months, a local magazine published Ly Marina’s story that she would identify her lover after Khmer New Year and said that the man is the businessman in the age of 30s. She got divorced to Bayon channel’s program manager during a very short time of their marriage.

Even though, she is widowed but her popularity is still supported by fans. This year, she is 28 years. And she has started to enter into the art career sine 2001. until now, it is nearly ten years of her performing.

Until now, she still does not show who is an owner of her heart yet.

After she broke from her ex-husband, she has lived as the widowed woman and still makes money as performer for several years. Ly Marina, movie and karaoke actress, recently hinted that she is studying to get understanding with a new man. And she mentioned that he is a rich and widowed man. Until now, she still does not identify this man yet to the public yet.  Hopefully, she really meets a man she loves in next year. Really????

Ms Ly Marina said openly that it is said she really do not want to be said “widowed” woman, even though she has been asked for love and to get married to. However she added that, she will try to avoid the past path when she makes decision to marry someone.

Her age reaches 28 years old this year. After getting separated from her married husband, who presently is Bayon Television’s program manager, nearly four years, she now is living with a word “widowed” woman. Though, her popularity is seemly not decreasing in the art and fans still support her performance.

In interview with Khmer-language newspaper Kohsantepheap, she reiterated that please stopped asking for her past matters, because she forgot it. What she is thinking at the present is the present and the future. She added that choosing the future spouse, she has to avoid following her bitter life’s footsteps.

She also hinted that before getting married to someone, she needs times to have understanding each others such as behavior, attitude, honesty, single man who is the same performing artist and also agreed from her parents.

Her current career is so busy. She just came back from Thailand after she walked as a model by wearing Khmer traditional clothes. She is proud that Khmer traditional dresses designed by Cambodian designers have been strongly supported when designers used image of Angkor Wat on dresses.

Ly Marina was the former student of music at University of Fine Arts and she has step into the art in 2001. Presently, she has performed Karaoke, movies and made advertisings for products imported from overseas.

Finally, she said that she has to keep her reputation, value of arts, culture and women and she will try to avoid bad news that is always happening to girls and women, especially actress and actors.
