Sapoun Midada: my wife will not deliver baby abroad

As planned, a couple of Khmer artists, Sapoun Midada and Seour Sotheara, left to perform in European countries for two months but it was because of their success, they extended until 4 moths. A pair returned to Cambodia on July 29, 2010.

Sapoun Midada said that “it is the first time to perform together abroad with my wife. It is really successful because I performed in many countries in European countries such as France, Spain, German, Austria, Belgium, and Netherland. But a part of income from permanence is contributed to child orphans.”

Departing abroad this time, Sapoun Midada received both performing success and family because his wife has 4-month pregnancy.

Midada added that “if a comparison between the past and the present is far different. My first pleasure is my wedding celebration and then my wife told me that she got pregnant.”

It is remarkably noticed that a lifestyle of a couple is better than before. Therefore, some fellow artists said that Midada has plan to send his wife to have baby abroad.

In response to this matter, Midada said that “there are many professional clinics and doctors in Cambodia, so my wife will conceive in our country but not sure which clinic I will choose yet.”

After returning to Cambodia, Sotheara does not plan to sing at concerts of any local television channels because she needs to take a rest for taking care of her health and baby. But Midada has plan to record his new songs that he composed by himself. (Unofficial translate from The Popular Magazine)

Sim Thaina opens BBQs shop

M Production’s singer, Sim Thaina, officially announced at the end of July on live television concert that she opened Barbeque shop near old US Embassy.

We always observe that actors and actresses always do their own business before performing career. Let’s go to have BBQ at her shop!!! Go go!!!!

chhorn Sovannareach promoted new album

Just coming back from concert in Australia, Hang Meas Production’s singer, Chhorn Sovannareach, rashes to perform concert at local channels on Sunday last week. I saw him singing at TV5 and ASEAN television in order to promote his new album after he was so quiet for a while. He got success in his abroad concert. It is observed that he tried to show new style in new album in order to draw attention from fans. Recently, new rising singers are attacking market so that popular singers at Hang Meas Production is increasing its popularity a little bit in Cambodian young supporters. Chhor Sovannareach’s new album will be strongly supported from fans or not?

Did Meas Soksophea get married?

Young Cambodian fans always want to know whether a well-known singer Meas Soksophea really has husband but some news reported that she really got married secretly at the end of 2009 but other reported that she is still single. Until now, she still does not reveal by herself to public about her wedding life. I just spotted two wedding pictures of Meas Soksophea on website www.mycambodia.tv. is it true?

These photos really show that she got married already to man living abroad. By the way, recently other local news revealed that she split with her husband. Therefore, she is afraid of telling her private life in public. Even thought, her brother Meas Sokratanak denied this rumor. But it is still doubt.

Sokratanak told Sabay that “my sister and bride’s side properly got married, so that how do they split? because they love each other so much.

We are aware that her brother, Sokratanak, always defends his sister. And he is a song writer for his sister to sing. In fact, she got married to Cambodian-Canadian man since December 28, 2009.

I am always doubt why Meas Soksophea does not dare to tell the public that she really got married. Maybe she has some problem with husband or she does not want her popularity to decrease if she said that she has husband. Is it right?

Khemara Sereymon’s villa is constructing

Sunday production’s popular singer, Khemara Sereymon, is spending around US$300,000 have his big house constructed with two stories. This big house has been constructed about 80 percent, and it will be built completely soon.

Meas Soksophea on stage over this weekend

Meas Soksophea is one of popular singers amongst Cambodian young fans in the present. Even though, her new songs were not heard for a while in public but young fans still support her beautiful voices. According to national media reported, she is recording new songs for Town Production where is her new place after she left Sunday Production.

Her brother, Meas Sokratana, was quoted by Sabsay as saying that Meas Soksophea is going to perform weekend concerts at Bayon Channel on Saturday and TV5 on Sunday over this weekend in order to promote her new songs recorded for Town Production instead of Press Conference.

It is not sure whether her new songs will be supported or not. Previously, our songs recorded for Production M and Sunday were popular and supported by young fans.

Now, we wait and see how many songs she will sing over this weekend. Wishing her good luck for new songs for youths.

Preap Sovat left for Australia

Hang Meas Production’s popular singer Preap Sovat left Cambodia for Australia in order to perform concert one month over there. In addition, his wife is accompanied with him as well. By the way, his wife also hinted that she wants her sons to continue study abroad. While she was in Australia, she will seek additional information about school in Australia for her sons. Right now, there are three singers of this production performing in Australia, including Chhorn Sovannareach and Ouk Sokunkapha.

Popular singer Ouk Sokunkanha left Cambodia for Australia on Friday evening last week in order to perform concert over there. She presently is recording songs for Hang Meas Production. At the present, it is noticed that Singers of Hang Meas Production performed abroad. recently, three singers came back from France, while its popular singer Chhorn Sovannareach is performing in Australia.

3 singers of Hang Meas Production returned to home

While Hang Meas production is losing its market share to other new productions in Cambodian market, some of its singers went to perform abroad in order to promote its songs and gain its popularity in overseas market. Right now, three popular singers of Hang Meas production – Nob Pahnarith, Pich Sophea, and Chhet Sovannpanha – returned from France and arrived in Cambodia.

They went to France on May 06, and arrived in the nation on June 24, 2010. Their performance abroad was successful.

Som Polida got second divorce

We always see female comedian and singer Som Polida, aged 26, performed on local television channels’ weekend concerts. For a while, we rarely see her on stage after she had have gotten married to a second husband with a daughter who she just delivered in 2010.

Recently, she told local media that she just got divorced with her second husband. Therefore, she became the widowed woman two times.

Som Polida, has started her career as singer since 1996 but her marriage life is not successful. In addition, she always has been attacked by rumor of scandal in her private life.
