Khat Sokhim

Khat Sokhim, singer and comedienne, had engagement with a young actor, In Panha, whose nickname is Phano, on February 23, 2011 at her house nearby Borei Chey Chomnas, Steung Meanchey district, in Phnom Penh. Her fiancé is younger than her. Khat Sokhim has a five-year son without getting married to a man who she always has tried to hide his name. Even though, they know that he is a TV program manager.

Her engagement party is as big as wedding party because she invited more guests to join her engagement.

Her fiancé, Phano, told local magazine that he has relationship with Khat Sokhim more than 5 months and then reached engagement. He also said that he likes Sokhim and her son. Phano used to star CTN’s drama “Strange Lover” that broadcasted on CTN and then was banned by Ministry of Information.

After getting engaged, both has no plan to marry yet because they need to build more and more souvenirs and have more understanding each other. They are going to travel tourism sites around 24 provinces by riding motorcycle in order to establish souvenirs and close relationship.

Khemarak Sreypov and Khemarak Serymon

Got starting her singing career more than 2 years, Khemarak Sreypov who is a famous singer’s sister, Khemarak Sereymon, is recognized and supported by Cambodian young fans. She still keeps her natural beauty. She has not her skin whitened as other female stars did. At the present, it is noticed that most of stars, both male and female, like to have their skin whitened.

She told Apsara Magazine that she is presently very happy with her successful career because her songs have been strongly recognized and supported on the market. It is the reason that what is important is good voice for singer and other things are not so important.

She also said that she likes to make up as natural beauty because she likes her natural beauty and wants to keep it. She added that she feels afraid of using products because it can affect health.

For love, she told the magazine that she is not involved with anyone yet because she thought she is really pleased to live with her parents and brothers. By the way, she is focusing on her study.

Sok Pisey and Aok Sokunkana

Presently, I have noticed that young fans are taking attention to two famous singers- Sok Pisey and Aok Sokunkanha- who are from Sunday and Hang Meas production respectively. Even though, Sok Pisey had postponed more than one year after she faced car accident along National Road 4 toward Sihanoukville but after restarting her singing career, she is still supported by her fans. By the way, Aok Sokunkanha is the top singer amongst other female singers in Hang Meas production and her is strongly supported by young fans as well. Meas Soksophea and Karona Pich from Town Production

Town production will be releasing its new album soon after the previous album drew more attention from fans because of well-know singer Meas Soksophea. Today, Karona Pich announced on this facebook that he and Meas Soksophea will perform CTN’s A1 Concert and sing songs in new album and he added that new album also was on sales on the market already.

Meas Soksophea and Karona Pich

Two famous singers from Town production, Meas Soksophea and Karona Pich, were invited to perform at Retrey Kumsan of CTN’s program this evening (Oct 02, 2010), making interview with the personal life and careers of stars.

Before, going to attend CTN’s program, Meas Soksophea announced in her facebook by saying that:

I will be performing with pich on ctn tonight Retrey kumsan at 5pm today if you get chance to watch also Metphone lucky draw on Bayon t.v…have a wonderfull and safe weekend…PLEASE dont drink and drive nahh.

Meas Soksophea also appeals to all Cambodian youths that “If you drink beer, please do not drive. All motorcycle drivers should not drive along the car lance in order to avoid road accident”.

Sapoun Midada said that “it is the first time to perform together abroad with my wife. It is really successful because I performed in many countries in European countries such as France, Spain, German, Austria, Belgium, and Netherland. But a part of income from permanence is contributed to child orphans.”

Departing abroad this time, Sapoun Midada received both performing success and family because his wife has 4-month pregnancy.

Midada added that “if a comparison between the past and the present is far different. My first pleasure is my wedding celebration and then my wife told me that she got pregnant.”

It is remarkably noticed that a lifestyle of a couple is better than before. Therefore, some fellow artists said that Midada has plan to send his wife to have baby abroad.

In response to this matter, Midada said that “there are many professional clinics and doctors in Cambodia, so my wife will conceive in our country but not sure which clinic I will choose yet.”

After returning to Cambodia, Sotheara does not plan to sing at concerts of any local television channels because she needs to take a rest for taking care of her health and baby. But Midada has plan to record his new songs that he composed by himself. (Unofficial translate from The Popular Magazine)
