Koraoke actress married Cambodian-Autralian man

Karaoke actress, Keo Pich Pisey, married overseas man on October, 31, 2009. Her husband is living in Australia and owner of bread. Many and many wedding guests joining her wedding were families, relatives and friends.

Khmer TV presenter: Chea Vibol

With the focus on increasing drug-use plaguing Cambodia society, Chea Vibol, aged 30, movie and karaoke and TV presenter reminds all television presenters to participate in disseminating the damage of drug use. TV presenters play important role in contributing it to all levels of people.

Chea Vibol started his art career since 2003 after she was awarded first prize of Freshest Boys and Freshest Girls at TV3. Even though, he is 30 and he does not get married yet but his heart is not available. His loved girl is not actor. What is important is that he needs to make more money because the living does not stay away from financial issue.

Ly Marina

Ms Ly Marina said openly that it is said she really do not want to be said “widowed” woman, even though she has been asked for love and to get married to. However she added that, she will try to avoid the past path when she makes decision to marry someone.

Her age reaches 28 years old this year. After getting separated from her married husband, who presently is Bayon Television’s program manager, nearly four years, she now is living with a word “widowed” woman. Though, her popularity is seemly not decreasing in the art and fans still support her performance.

In interview with Khmer-language newspaper Kohsantepheap, she reiterated that please stopped asking for her past matters, because she forgot it. What she is thinking at the present is the present and the future. She added that choosing the future spouse, she has to avoid following her bitter life’s footsteps.

She also hinted that before getting married to someone, she needs times to have understanding each others such as behavior, attitude, honesty, single man who is the same performing artist and also agreed from her parents.

Her current career is so busy. She just came back from Thailand after she walked as a model by wearing Khmer traditional clothes. She is proud that Khmer traditional dresses designed by Cambodian designers have been strongly supported when designers used image of Angkor Wat on dresses.

Ly Marina was the former student of music at University of Fine Arts and she has step into the art in 2001. Presently, she has performed Karaoke, movies and made advertisings for products imported from overseas.

Finally, she said that she has to keep her reputation, value of arts, culture and women and she will try to avoid bad news that is always happening to girls and women, especially actress and actors.

Doung Zorida

Doung Zorida, film star and TV presenter, told the local-Khmer newspapers in an interview that bad year disappeared and the year of 2009 brings her good fortune after patriarch prayed her with scared water and wished her good luck. She added that the monk chief also tied white fortunate string to her wrist and gave her with corn and soybean that he brought from Royal Plowing Festival.

It mentioned that in the late 2008, Zorida had two bad incidents happening to her. Firstly, she was wounded by motorcycle accident and she took few days to be treated. And secondly, unmanned person displayed photo of her at some VIA club in Phnom Penh with price of between US$4,000 and US$8,000. And later, she and other actress, Veng Sreyno file complaint with Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection Department.

Now, the ministry of interior has opened investigation into Phnom Penh karaoke parlors that used the photos of film stars to advertise to escort services and attract patrons.

She added that after water-spaying, she feels clear and happy. And her career is running smoothly with any obstacles.
