Celebrity couple Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won recently attended 2PM‘s second solo concert from their ‘2PM Hands Up Asia Tour‘ at the Seoul Jamsil gymnasium.

An associate who was also present at the concert told Star News, “Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won went to the 2PM concert, and they were clapping and cheering along to the songs, enjoying the atmosphere. They didn’t care about their surroundings during the concert and fully enjoyed their date“.

The two are also planning their first overseas photoshoot together. They’ll be leaving for Bangkok on the 6th and plan to stay there for about a week for their fashion photoshoot.

Baek Ji Young and actor Jung Suk Won (who’s nine years younger than Baek) officially announced their relationship back in June, and have since charmed fans with their affectionate communications on Twitter.

On September 2nd, the members of 2NE1 departed for Japan to begin their mini-album promotions. It all seemed to be going well, until netizens began to examine the photos taken of CL at the airport.

The photos have become a controversial issue, as netizens spotted offensive language on the sweater CL wore that day.

Phrases such as ‘f*** everything’, ‘take my tits’, and ‘cut here’ written near the neckline could be read on CL’s top.

Many netizens were shocked by CL’s choice to wear an outfit that included such language and left criticisms saying, “For an idol who has such a strong influence on teenagers, this is an inappropriate outfit,” and “There’s no way CL didn’t know what the phrases meant, since she is fluent in English.”

However, other netizens came to CL’s defense and argued, “It’s just fashion, there’s nothing wrong with having those phrases on a shirt“, and some insisted, “This was not a public meeting, we cannot judge her for the outfits she chooses to wear during her own personal time.”

It was also revealed that the design of the sweater was derived from a work of art by British artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster.

2NE1’s Sandara Park created some buzz with her cape-look fashion.

On August 29th, Sandara attended the Etude House Beauty Class event in Samsung-dong, Seoul. On this day, Sandara wore a cape-style dress with a bright pink corsage on her chest. This fashion style, along with her up-do hairstyle gave off a very clean, professional look. On the other hand, her bright nail polish, black stockings, and kill-heel shoes gave off a complimentary sexy feel.

Rather than the rock-chic or girly look that she usually wears as a part of 2NE1, Sandara Park showed off a much matured and classy look during this event.

After recently debuting in Japan, After School member Nana was picked to be the main model for the famous Japanese fashion show, “Tokyo Girls Collection.”

Working as a supermodel before becoming a celebrity in After School, Nana’s height and modeling skills were the reasons why she was picked. Several singers have modeled for this collection in the past, but none were chosen to be the main model.

An official stated, “Japanese girls are envious of the professional models in the ‘Tokyo Girls Collection,’ and for a singer to appear as the main model instead of singing / performing is quite rare.”

The Tokyo Girls Collection is held in Japan twice a year as a Fashion Festival and the latest Japanese fashion trends are shown worldwide. The event brings in an audience of over 30,000 and this event will be held on September 3rd.

The trio of AZIATIX has participated in a new photoshoot for fashion magazine ‘SURE‘!

Utilizing ‘charisma’ as their concept, the members brought poses and expressions that exuded the feel of a ‘cold city man’. An interesting point in their fashion for this pictorial is that they rocked a casual suited look. Utilizing fun prints and accessories, AZIATIX adds their own sense of ‘color’ to the shoot.

The trio have been enjoying much success all over the world, including the States, Europe, Japan, and the rest of Asia.  Their title track, “Slippin’ Away“, even managed to land on the main page of CNN GO as well as ranking in on the iTunes top 10 chart.

AZIATIX are currently on tour in Asia in celebration of their “Nocturnal” album release.

Danish jewelry brand ‘PILGRIM‘ held their 2011 F/W collection show on August 30th at Kangnam-gu, Shinsadong in the LG Fashion West Building.

Numerous celebrities were seen at the promotional event to support the global jewelry brand, including the likes of Kwon Ri Sae, and f(x)’s Sulli & Krystal.

Ever since they launched their first collection in 1995, ‘PILGRIM’ has expanded with 5,000 stores in over 50 countries worldwide.

This year’s F/W collection covers three major lines of jewelry: natural and elegant “Delicut“, bohemian and ethnic-inspired “Bohemia“, and a modern, rock-and-roll line named “Attitude“.

Kim Yoon Ah, vocalist from radical Korean band Jaurim recently dyed her hair platinum blonde, giving a new transformation to her image.

Kim Yoon Ah’s extreme makeover was made when she was appointed as the model for 5 Fashion Eye wear SPA brand, ‘eye wear SPACE ALDO‘. The concept for the photo shoot was, ‘bE ARTISTIC‘ and showcased a image change for Kim Yoon Ah. The advertisement accented the female musicians unique image and also her extraordinary qualities.

With Kim Yoon Ah wearing glasses, you see a side of her that you normally don’t see on stage. An associate on the advertisement production team stated, “In the eyewear industry, they mostly look for radical models and we were thinking of artist Kim Yoon Ah as our model because of her charisma. We consulted with her even before her appearance on ‘I Am a Singer‘“.

Meanwhile, fans are anticipating a powerful performance by Kim Yoon Ah on the stage of ‘I Am a Singer‘ even though she placed 7th place in the ratings survey for the last episode.

Actress Son Tae Young showed off her sexy figure for the first time in quite a while.

She showed off the sexy figure through a recent fashion magazine photoshoot with W. The photoshoot was held in Seoul Gangnam and for this photoshoot, Son Tae Young wore various brand name fashion props and accessories, showing a sexy appeal with her smokey bold grunge makeup.

W Fashion senior editor Kim Seok Won revealed, “Son Tae Young’s expressions are so good. She was able to be slick, feminine, sexy, youthful, and showed off a wide range of appeals. In addition, she also posed for the camera wonderfully, which allowed production to be easier and flow smoothly“.

The two JYP Nation groups, 2PM and miss A recently collaborated for a Korean tourism video!

In the short 30 second video which promotes shopping in Korea, you are tasked with spotting the K-pop stars in the heart of the fashion capital, Seoul. You really have to stare hard because they whisk by in a flash at the beginning. But don’t worry, because they slow-mo the video for everyone in the end.

The two groups are also promoting the “Visit Korea and become an interactive movie star with 2PM and miss A” contest where you need to produce 1) An interesting video that explains why you love Korea or why you must come to Korea or 2) A video of you singing, dancing, or acting with anything related to Korea.

Recently, T-ara has been showing off their disco moves to their new tune ‘Roly Poly‘. Along with the choreography and song, their fashion has also been showing us their retro style. Their outfits consist of bright colors, polka dots, bell bottoms, platforms shoes, and pretty much anything you can think of from the retro era.

In all honesty, I’m a fan of T-ara but they should refrain from the gimmicky concepts (‘Yayaya‘ anyone?). Their ‘Roly Poly’ stages and music video look like a buffet of bad fashion. Sure, they tried the unified outfits in their comeback stage, but those outfits missed the mark and were just not that appealing. In their usual outfits, shown above, it looks like they made a list of everything and anything retro and then combined them together to create this concept. Some of their usual clothing pieces look like they literally grabbed it from the 70s. No doubt, some pieces are cute, but the entire canvas is just too overwhelming. Visually, the concept would have been much better if they focused on just a few retro aspects and modernized it to a cohesive style. Instead, it feels like we’ve just been slapped across the face with their swift disco moves.

Also worth mentioning is their recent gym clothes performance on MBC’s ‘Music Core‘. Although a bit odd, I have to give credit to the girls for catching the audience’s attention in a unique way. It was an amusing special version of ‘Roly Poly’.

All in all, T-ara sure knows how to grab people’s attention, but is it always in a good way?
