From September 2nd through the 4th, the Tokyo Dome shook with the cheers of 150,000 fans, all cheering for their favorite artists during the ‘SM Town Live in Tokyo‘ concerts.

For three days, SM Entertainment labelmates BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), CSJH, Kim Min Jong, Kang Ta, and many others came together for the second time since January. Over 600,000 fans applied for tickets, leading SM to add another concert date.

The concert kicked off with an impressive opening video and then ballad performances by Kim Min Jong and Kang Ta.  SNSD was up next with their own hit tracks, while TVXQ followed with Super Junior. tThe label’s maknae groups, SHINee and f(x), rounded out the stage.

Shindong, Eunhyuk, Minho, and Key also came out with a fun hip hop performance of “A-Yo“.

TVXQ and SNSD in particular impressed fans by conversing with them in fluent Japanese throughout the concert. There were a lot of collaboration stages between the groups as well, such as Jessica and Krystal‘s “Tik Tok” and Seohyun and Kyuhyun‘s “Way Back Into Love“.

Akigawa Masafumi, a Japanese popera singer, collaborated with Ryeowook, Yesung, and Onew for “A Thousand Winds“.

Fans were also delighted to see Sulli and Kang Ta interact for their “7989” stage, during which Kang Ta handed her a rose and drew jealous screams from fangirls and fanboys alike.

Celebrity couple Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won recently attended 2PM‘s second solo concert from their ‘2PM Hands Up Asia Tour‘ at the Seoul Jamsil gymnasium.

An associate who was also present at the concert told Star News, “Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won went to the 2PM concert, and they were clapping and cheering along to the songs, enjoying the atmosphere. They didn’t care about their surroundings during the concert and fully enjoyed their date“.

The two are also planning their first overseas photoshoot together. They’ll be leaving for Bangkok on the 6th and plan to stay there for about a week for their fashion photoshoot.

Baek Ji Young and actor Jung Suk Won (who’s nine years younger than Baek) officially announced their relationship back in June, and have since charmed fans with their affectionate communications on Twitter.

On September 3, 2NE1 maknae Minzy recently uploaded a photo to her me2day showing off her fierce looks and stylish shades!

The idol added, “Such great weather. Today is the day for the Pink Play concert. It’s such a great, bright day as well. A selca with sunglasses on click!”

Some netizens who viewed the photo left comments including, “Jackpot for Minzy“, “Cute but also serious“, “Beautiful hair!“, and “Have fun at the concert~“.

Shortly after completion of the Etude ‘Pink Play’ concert, 2NE1 will head back to Japan to further work on promotional activities. On September 21st, the group will drop their Japanese debut mini-album, and plan to heavily promote in early October.

On September 3rd, cosmetics brand Etude House opened up their second ‘Pink Play‘ concert at the SETEC!

Performing artists included 2NE1, MBLAQ, 8Eight, Mighty Mouth, and pianist Jin Bora, all of whom earned enthusiastic responses from the audience members.  The concert was held under the theme of “sweet stars and our pink light dreams”.

The concert kicked off with Jin Bora’s performance and a short story on her dreams and her passion for playing the piano.  MBLAQ followed up with their own performance and a special photo session with event winners.

8Eight and Mighty Mouth were up next, each singing four songs.  The climax of the concert was 2NE1′s performance of their hit tracks, as well as an encore of “Ugly“.  The girls expressed their excitement in seeing the fans again for the second time at this concert.

Etude House representatives stated, “The concert is a repayment of all of the love our customers have shown us.  This year, we focused on not only the music, but also the dreams of the stars.  We hope that it was a meaningful event for everyone.”

BoA tweeted yesterday, “During SMTOWN’s Tokyo concert. With my little sister Amber“. The two posed affectionately for the camera, with BoA leaning on Amber’s shoulder.

On September 2nd, ‘Beast idols’ 2PM finally held their first concert for their Asia tour, “2PM HANDS UP TOUR CONCERT“!

As they made their entrance on stage, the boys were greeted by the screams of 7,000 fans at Jamsil Gymnasium. Kicking off the concert with “HOT“, they then put on impressive visual stages for ”Electricity” and “Hands Up“, which utilized a glow-in-the-dark concept and a laser show, respectively.

Additionally, the boys brought out charismatic performances of “I Was Crazy About You” and “Tired Of Waiting“. By this point, 2PM successfully heightened the atmosphere in the stadium, and confirmed with fans that they were the best performance group in Korea.

The members’ solo performances especially stood out. Junho and Wooyoung performed “By My Side“, while Chansung showed off his masculine charisma with an aggressive “Revenger” performance. Junsu delivered an emotional live for “Alive“, and Nickhun and Taecyeon performed a duet of “My Valentine“. Fans cheered wildly as they then performed “Itaewon Freedom“, which featured a cameo appearance from singers UV .

With amazing performances, stellar live vocals as well as colorful stages, this 2PM concert made the crowd’s hearts beat with excitement and sheer satisfaction. The concert was applauded as a success, and the boys hope to deliver even better ones for the future stops.

2PM stated with overflowing joy, “We waited patiently and prepared diligently for today, the day we got to meet with our fans. The two hours we spent together was like a happy dream. Armed with the love and energy that fans gave us today, we will show an even better stage for our Asia Tour. For the people who suffered for our fans and our concert, thank you. 2PM will kick off their Asia Tour with a two-day concert in Seoul on September 2nd and 3rd.They will head to Taiwan for October 8th, Indonesia for November 11th, Singapore for November 19th, Malaysia for November 25th, the Philippines for November 27th, and Beijing for mid-November. In December, 2PM will embark on a nationwide tour in Japan.

Beastly idol group 2PM recently held an official press conference for their ‘2PM HANDS UP ASIA TOUR‘ on September 2nd, and successfully completed their first concert in Seoul.

2PM took the time before the concert to state their thoughts at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium and also warmly welcomed everyone attending the event.

Junsu first commented, “We all feel very honored to be be able to go through with an Asia Tour. We will show the significance of our work. Expect to see some unique performances!”

Following up, Taecyeon added, “We faced a lot of hardships while preparing for our upcoming concerts. Sometimes we would really require a break at night. Even so, we are very excited, and can’t wait to show you the true colors of 2PM.”

The ‘2PM HANDS UP ASIA TOUR’ began in Seoul on September 2nd, and another concert will be held on the 3rd. They’re scheduled to hold concerts in Taiwan on October 8th, China on October 22nd, Singapore on November 19th, andMalaysia on November 26th. They’re currently in the process of adding Thailand to the list, as well as more countries.

Meanwhile, 2PM is currently promoting “I’m Your Man” in Japan, which has been receiving explosive popularity.

During 2PM’s first concert for their ‘Hands Up Asia Tour‘ held on September 2nd, member Taecyeon injured his leg while on stage, causing many fans to worry.

Taecyeon’s injury has been reported to stem from the excess amounts of exercise and training prior to the concert.

Despite suffering from extreme knee pain, his fellow members of 2PM helped Taecyeon up to complete the stage just for their fans. Staff members at the concert were standing by and a bit worried, as were the fans. Although Taecyeon and Wooyoung shed some tears, he was able to pull through.

Shortly after the concert, a JYP representative reported to Seoul NTN, “Taecyeon previously injured his knee during the JYP Nation performance back in August. He will be sure to rest, and medical attention will be provided as needed to help cure his condition. He will try his best for tomorrow’s concert.”

2PM performed many big hits at the concert including “Hands Up”, “10 Points out of 10″, “Again & Again”, and more.

2NE1’s Dara shared a set of four pictures showing off her ‘dance of madness’, an aftereffect from her joy over the ‘Nolza‘ concerts.

On August 31st, she updated her Me2day by writing, “Aftereffect of the concert! ‘Ugly‘ started playing while we were taking a break during filming in the studio… and I immediately said it was the ending song and got up to dance!  Even though the concert is already over… sobs.”

From top left to right, the captions state, “Dancing power to the ending song~”, “I wanna be! Pretty~!!”, “Euhahahahakyakyakyakyak”, and “A fun stage, the madness of Sandara Park, did you have fun watching?  If you did, please write explosive replies!”
