Khmer singer: Pich Sophea
Khmer singer, Pich Sophea, who is recording songs for Hang Meas production, came back from her concert performing in France last month, including other singers such as Nob Panharith, and Chhet Sovannpanha. In addition, she was successful in her performance and she could make more money as well. Most of Cambodian people living in France liked her songs and supported her.
After she arrived in Cambodia, she was invited to perform concert at TV5’s Top Ten Concert and Asean Television channel. When she sang on the stage, we did not hear her new songs but she just sang her old songs released in last few years.
At the present, there are many news songs have been sung by new singers and they are getting popularity in Cambodian music market. By the way, Pich Sophea has no new songs to be released yet and her popularity is seemly decreasing a little bit if compared to the last few years.
For her private love, she got engaged to a Cambodian-American man for more than one year but some reported that her engagement ended. And she dares not to reveal it in public. So, does her engagement end?
Hello my name is John bun and rumors is true that pich sophea and I are no longer engaged. We split up just on December 2010. I really don’t want to go into details on why our love affair had ended. I was hurt but I will always support Sophea and her may her career prosper. She has a great future ahead of her and it would be selfish of me to hold her back and ask her to give it all up to move to America to be a house wife.
