I think this argument is a little confused. See, it seems that some straight people are getting it a bit confused. As an ally, you're part of the fight, you're someone who wants equality, you're a necessary factor. But, the terms GSM, LGBTQ+, queer, alphabet soup, etc. describe the people who are actually queer. The ones who are the subject, the ones truly affected by discrimination. They aren't labels for anyone who wants equality, and it doesn't hurt you to not be included in them.
